Located in the northeastern part of Kisarazu City, this area retains a strong sense of its satoyama landscape and local history and culture.The area is dotted with a variety of attractions, including the Manyo Trail—where ancient poems are still passed down—the glamping facility “ETOWA KISARAZU,” which repurposes a former school building; Maruta Station, offering views of the local railway; and the Tomita Community Center, a hub for community interaction.In recent years, efforts to repurpose underutilized facilities and develop new tourist hubs have progressed, leading to initiatives that make the most of local resources.
