Born in Tokyo. He studied glass at the Tokyo Glass Art Institute and, after graduating, apprenticed under glass artist Yanagi Kentaro. His artwork primarily employs lampworking and cutting techniques using an oxygen torch. He aims to create artworks that, like common weeds and wildflowers, may lack flashiness but blend comfortably into their surroundings and bring a sense of quiet peace.
