Born in Tokyo in 1975. Currently resides in Takasaki City. Underwent training in Berlin as a fellow of the Pola Art Foundation. Her representative artworks include installations featuring layers of fabric embroidered over drawings. She has exhibited her artwork at museums and art festivals both in Japan and abroad, including the Sydney Biennale and the Yokohama Triennale.
