Born in 1970. He has been involved in theater and contemporary art since the early 1990s and opened the shop “6%DOKIDOKI” in 1995. Based in Tokyo and New York, he creates artworks that span the realms of art, fashion, and entertainment with his unique sense of color.He has helped spread “Kawaii” culture worldwide through projects such as the art direction for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s “PONPONPON” music video and the production of the “KAWAII MONSTER CAFE.” In 2017, he served as a Cultural Exchange Ambassador for the Agency for Cultural Affairs. In recent years, he has championed the concept of “Digital Tribe” and continues to explore the possibilities of new communities.
