Kongo Astronauts traverses vertiginous worlds. Initiated in Kinshasa in 2013, the project unfolds through films, performances, sonic environments and polysemic fictions carried by a wandering Spacewalker assembled from electronic debris and an ever-shifting constellation of co-pilots, passengers and encounters. Moving through the interzones of globalization, where technological dreams collide with geological realities, Kongo Astronauts navigates postcolonial dilemmas, survival tactics and cosmic apparitions. Infinitely remixable, the project continues to mutate.
