Born in 1979. A contemporary artist whose work centers on the theme of food. He approaches cuisine not only in terms of “taste” and “nutrition,” but also from multifaceted perspectives such as context, experience, and perception, creating spaces for communication through food.To date, he has presented numerous artworks based on unique rules, such as “Ogori Café,” where items purchased by one person become the property of the next; “ALL AWAY CAFE,” where participants cannot communicate through language; and “Weekly Sports Day for Onigiri!.” He has participated in art festivals such as the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale and the Setouchi International Art Festival.
