Born in El Salvador and based in the United States, the artist explores multiple temporalities, simultaneity, and speculative visions of the future. Has participated in the 60th Venice Biennale (2024) and 14th Shanghai Biennale (2023–24), among others. Has held solo exhibitions at venues including Storm King Art Center (2023). Recipient of the Joan Mitchell Fellowship (2026), Latinx Artist Fellowship (2023), and the Artadia Los Angeles Award (2020). Teaches at the University of California, Davis.
