Open Call for Proposals

The Boso Triennale 2027 will launch an open call for proposals from Sunday, March 1 to Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Submissions may be made as open proposals with a preferred site, as proposals for one of the designated sites, or as artist- The open call invites proposals for artworks , performances, and projects.
We welcome proposals that highlight the unique history, culture, and rich natural environment of the Boso region and that contribute to raising We welcome proposals that highlight the unique history, culture, and rich natural environment of the Boso region and that contribute to raising international awareness of the Boso Triennale.

*Please note that the selection results will not be announced on this website. Only applicants who have passed the selection will be contacted individually at the address provided in the application.

Site Visit Tour on 2/21 (Sat)
To help applicants better understand the aims and context of the Triennale, a site visit will be organized. For those unable to attend in person, recorded videos are available.

【Itinerary】
Meeting point: Yawata Public Community Center, Ichihara City
Sites to be visited: Ichihara City (Uosō[Former Japanese Restaurant], Former Heisan Elementary School, Satomi Station), Otaki Town (Otaki Castle Town Street), Kisarazu City (Fukuta Community Center, ETOWA KISARAZU [former Fukuta Elementary School])
Dismissal: Kisarazu Station
*Group participation is limited to a maximum of two persons per group.
*Please note that the tour itinerary is subject to change.
*You may apply for the Open Call even if you do not participate in the site visit. If it is difficult for you to attend, please refer to the video, which will be released approximately one week after the tour.
