Born in Latvia in 1969 (currently resides there). Known for interactive sculptures and installations created in the context of history, culture, and social conditions. Has installed large-scale artworks in cities throughout Latvia and in several countries abroad, including Japan and the Philippines.He has served as curator of the “Sculpture Quadrennial Riga,” a sculpture exhibition held every four years in Riga, Latvia (2004, 2008, 2012). He is the director of the Arts Management and Information Center (MMIC).
